NMG was founded by Sophie Nicklin, following over 15 years in global event and B2B marketing. Having worked both in-house and alongside agencies, she saw first-hand the gap between what’s promised and what’s delivered, particularly around consistency, commercial focus, and senior oversight.

Too often, delivery sits with less experienced marketers, despite clients expecting a higher level of thinking, ownership, and accountability.

That experience shaped NMG to form a more considered approach to event marketing, built around clarity, accountability, and results.

Rather than separating strategy from delivery, NMG operates as a joined-up marketing function, led at a senior level and supported by carefully selected specialists across key areas.

The focus is on delivering marketing that is properly managed, aligned to commercial objectives, and executed to a standard clients can rely on. With no silos, no handovers, and no loss of momentum. Instead, clear direction and strategy that moves things forward.
